Getting There
Rattenberg is conveniently located about 30 minutes from Hütte Waldzeit, making it easily accessible for a day trip. You can either hop on a train from Hopfgarten im Brixental, or drive the scenic route through the Inn Valley. Both options are super easy, although naturally, the train takes a little longer!
Best Time to Visit
Although Rattenberg is beautiful at any time of year, the best time to visit is late spring (May-June) or early autumn (September-October). You're sure to enjoy mild weather, with an average temperature of about 20°C, and significantly fewer tourists. The atmosphere is also buzzing in July and August, and the town is scattered with outside eateries and cafes, so its a great spot in summer months too.
